We are comparing a Post Tension Masonry Block wall vs. a Conventional Masonry Block wall. Both type of walls are engineered and both are accepted by the State of California as a proper way to build a Masonry Block wall in San Diego.

With this comparison, we are providing the information that shows the material needed to build a 6 foot tall and 100 linear foot long wall. Even though the efficiency of the Post Tension Masonry wall requires less material, it meets or exceeds the Conventional Masonry wall in strength. During Seismic activity and high winds, the Post Tension Masonry wall is actually allowed to flex to prevent cracking. This is due to it's pro active engineering.
